That looks awesome Gizmo. Have you finished that 1% yet? I have just embarked on a project of my own and will post some pics when there is something worth posting. Not lookinf forward to the technical issues, ha ha, the hardware part is the part I find easiest, I am hoping to run a MAME system through PC. Hoping there aren't too many hiccups but since i finished uni for the year I have a lot of free time so will give me something to tinker with for the summer.

Vaguely in line with the racist overtones of the past page, but racist f***s piss me off as well. Was getting off the tram with a mate at La Trobe Bundoora, and there was an asian dude jumping off the train in front of us. As he jumped off some fat skank screeched out, "Yeah, f**k off ya asian c**t!" Pissed us off so we promptly poured our slushies on her head and my mate said, "Go roll in the mud you fat pig, you're all dirty." So funny, so it could be in the made me happy thread but the mindset of people frustrates me so much. Cheers.
Had a day to myself so went for a wander round some shops and picked up some random bits:

Civilisation Revolution - $10
Way of the Samurai 3 - $14
Lost Planet - $9
Halo 2 - $7

Also picked up a new espresso machine. Makes pretty good coffee so I'm happy.

Also snagged a cart only copy of Terranigma, so looking forward to giving it a whirl.

I have the WDTV unit with a 1 TB hard drive inside it, best thing I ever bought. Small unit in the tv cabinet, no extra hard drives and stuff hanging around and a TB of my favourite viewing anytime! Fast and responsive interface as well which is good, I also have a seagate one and there is a slight delay when navigating the menus. It plays .mkv which is a positive and so far haven't found anything it won't play, although I am sure there are things it doesn't. Highly recommend the WDTV though. Cheers mate!

Vanquish for $18 at game.com.au online, was available last week and appears to have copies available again for 360 and PS3.

I think it's a good idea, frustrating how all those positive trade ratings are going to nothing now though. will851 is right though, xboxworld.com.au has a good trade forum which is very well run and has a fairly strict set of forum guidelines. Been fairly quiet lately but will probably get a good injection of sales from now on.

Had a copy of AC: Brotherhood arrive in 6 days last week. Happy with that!
Anyone else seen Black Death? I just watched it and I actually enjoyed it, kind of reminded me of the wicker man which is odd. Really liked the ending as well, made it seem rather believable. Obviously its not a great film but I did enjoy it, perhaps because I went in with low expectations. Some nice violence too which is always fun!

Picked up a couple new consoles this week:


Grabbed this one from ebay for $70 delivered.

was from motoread01 from the gaming forum, $35 posted.

Super Stoked, also grabbed a copy of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (Xbox 360) for $27.99 from ozgameshop which arrived today and waiting on a copy of Legend of Dragoon from the forums and a meet up with Tobias Funke to pick up Super Mario Sunshine (GC), Tony Hawks Underground 2 (GC), Manhunt (PS2) and God of War II (PS2). Been a good week so far!
What I like, is how this started as a discussion on whether drinking alcohol is a positive thing or not and has now basically turned into AA without a counselor. It's just a bunch of drunks in a room sharing war stories, lol.

And FeralOni, I have no idea what or where the pirahna markets are but I like cheap ass cocktails even if I have to fight off fish to get them.
Lol, a Long Island Ice Tea can make a seasoned drinker sit his ass down! No wonder you felt ill! It's like pouring a qtr bottle of spirits in a glass, splashing some coke in and then punching the person you're serving it to in the face.

Personally I love the original and this looks pretty damn awesome!

Big W doncaster still had a number of Guitar Hero packs and DJ Hero packs for clearance. Guitar hero on most consoles, dj hero I could only find wii.

Not sure if this is a Bargain so thought I would ask here. My game has Hori fight sticks for xbox 360 on sale from $138 to $43.20. Are these any good at all and is it worth picking one up? Cheers!
