FF10 didn't have midget charecters though, everyone was normaly proportioned. Kihmari was like 7 foot tall?

They haven't done the midget thing since 7 (With the exception of 9 were the charecters were suposed to be that size wich didn't actully have Nomura charecter designs cause they went back to Ammano for that game?)
I dunno, I think it was a couple of the characters (probably Rikku and Yuna) being about 6-ish heads tall, and overage head length or whatever is about 7 - 8 inches or so. Some of those characters are probably a bit different (less) consdering they're half anime/realism. So it'd be like 8 inches x 6-7 heads = 48-56 inches, 48 x 2.5 (to convert it to cm) and they'd be about 120-140cm tall haha. Which is about 4-4.6 foot tall.

Then again, I'm not an art/anatomy student, and could be completely wrong lol, but it's more or less from memory, since I haven't played that game in a long, long time. It's deceptive in game because everything you see is relative to one an other.
Tetsuya Nomura's Character designs.

And the ingame character models in FF games (except FFVIII) beging midgets. I'm not on my computer at the moment so I can't confirm, but the FFX/FFX-2 character models were the equivalent of about 4-foot tall, if you were to check the proportions. The tallest and most fearsome of them was Kimahri and he was still only about as tall as the average person XD

*rawr!*
Still on Soul Calibur IV, I'm gonna move onto finishing Ninja Gaiden 2 and Eternal Sonata one of these days or one of the other many, many games I have piled up.

I have a few "classics" to play as well.

Same goes for movies, some people say that I never had a real childhood cause I never watched E.T. or TopGun (or some other "Classics"). I get E.T., but TopGun? Really.

The amount of games I have to play >>> the amount of time I have to play them.

It's just getting beyond ridiculous.
FFX-2 - I didn't really have any high hopes for it in any case, but it still managed to dissapoint me on so many levels.

PDZ - I honestly tried to like this game, even when friends would ask me what it was like, I said it was fun. But, I just think I didn't want to feel I had made a bad decision and chose to cover up my tracks by telling myself I was great and I had made a great choice by buying this piece of trash. Even to this day, I haven't been able to bring myself to finish it, and oh how I tried -_-'

Any Sonic game from Adventure onwards - I don't care what anyone says, Adventure was great fun. Adventure 2 was still fun, of sorts, but that's when it really started to die. I could take some of the terrible new characters, but seriously, they've just got to a point where it's hard to look at Sonic anymore.

Oh and Phantasy Star Universe - Really, I was picking up the game with the wrong mind set in the first place. I figured it'd be like going into a coma; and you know reliving old memories, kissing girls from highscool, yada, yada, yada. But no sadly, not the case, it just felt ridiculously dated. And again, I wanted to enjoy it, but I was asking for something that is beyond the capabilites of a pety Sonic Team who used to bring me so much. And, oh! How it almost brings a tear of pure dissapointment to eye.

Nothing beats the first time, ever. And that mindset will probably ruin games for me for the rest of my life. I want to enjoy StraCraft 2! I really do.
Probably should have mentioned Clover somewhere too.

Team Ico - I don't even think this requires an explanation. Their games are the best I've ever played right next to these other companies.

Blizzard - I've been playing Starcraft since day 1, Diablo and Diablo 2 since day 1, Warcraft games since I could remember them and WoW is taking up half my life. Yeah these guys are pretty much the best imo.

Kojima Productions - MGS. Nothing else needs to be said.

These 3 companies I would buy games from without question at all.
Oh yeah, you're right haha. I forgot about Blizzard, that's especially bad of me since I spent a good portion of my childhood and teenage years playing SC and War3 haha. Seriously, I don't think I've even outplayed them yet, and it's been like 10 years since Starcraft was first released.
Team ICO
Square - mostly prior to the whole Square Enix thing.
Rare - again, old Rare (DKC2 is still their best game, imho)
Nintendo - I respect them, but they haven't done a lot for me lately.
Team Ninja - the only thing that might have let them down are the DoAX games and even then they're not terrible.
GameFreak - Poke'mon game, among others that were pretty good.
Kojima Productions - No brainer
Sonic Team - Early Sonic games, NiGHTS and Phantasy Star (including PSO)
I went and got it literally first thing when I got up haha.
Started playing at about 9:15 or so with my friend and didn't stop until about 6:30, when I had to go to work.

Then came home and played a little more haha.

I tried out the online just a minute ago, played against some guy in Australia with full green bars or whatever and my god, the delay was horrible. But, there was an American in the lobby too, so that may have somehow contributed.

But yeah, the game itself is great fun, there's some pretty challenging stuff to be done in it, which is always good.
The movement kind of annoyed me at first, having come from playing SC1 on XBL arcade for a while now, and not having a decent backdash was killing me for a bit, but yeah the movement is probably actually better now, feels like each movement needs to be more deliberate.

The graphics are pretty insane, the statues in the background on the green looking level with the trees and the water look pretty much real. If there were no characters on screen, I might have been fooled haha.

All in all, SCIV = great game, well worth the buy and the frustrating anticipation.

I read that finishing the Tower of lost souls mode or whatever is really hard as in harder than ninja gaiden hard and all you get is a congratulations. so yer no vader for that guys. If he is available which he will so they can make some cash it will be DLC
Yeah well, from memory a big old "Congratulations" is all you got when you collected all the DK coins in DKC2. That was a bit slap in the face if I ever did get one. Which I didn't -_-.

In any case, SCIV first thing tomorrow (yay!), since I couldn't get it first thing like a month ago some people seem to have done.
Ah, phooey. Forget the rumble, get an arcade stick! =P
"In New Zealand and Australia there will be a Steelbook case edition with bonus DVD containing, 4 trailers in HD, 4 wallpapers, exclusive concept art and an exclusive booklet with character biographies."

On Wiki^

but yeah, it's not a big deal. Wouldn't use the rest of the misc. stuff they include on either one anyway I don't think.

Really though, a DVD with 4 Trailers and 4 wallpapers. I couldn't justify the bother of including an extra DVD for such extras =/

Also, making a new stick soon after this comes out, yay. Since my one from DoA is dying.
I don't see why you couldn't do that.

And I think SCIV is causing a red ring pandemic, my friends 360 rrod'd too X_x

Not allowed to have games we're actually looking forward to it seems =/

And Australia isn't getting the same SE that everyone else is getting if that hasn't already been mentioned. Way to be, PAL. I bet it has crap cover art too.
My friends and I have been using this for a while now and it's done us good.

But, the latest update that we got was buggy and wouldn't let us join games or show each other as online or something for a while. I don't know if it was just us and our gear either, but in any case, just putting it out there to let other people know if it happens to them that it isn't such an isolated problem.

We've since just started using the version prior to that and it works fine for us.
Watched a friend play through all of MGS4 in one sitting, so it semi counts.

Now, I'm onto NG2 and am going to start on Eternal Sonata soon.

I should also get back to finishing FFVIII one day soon haha.
Yeah I normally just get demos I'm interested in on XBL, and with other games I can buy them from somewhere like EB, try it out, then return it within the 7 day limit, ho ho ho. But I don't do that too often, since I normally like the games I actually bother buying.
Re: Your newest purchase (4 years ago)
I have too many things to play atm, got Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom and Ninja Gaiden II a week ago.
Re: Diablo 3 Discussion (4 years ago)
Gathering from their latest D2 patch (disables CD-check), it seems like they are trying to build up excitement for a D3 release.
When I feel like listening to a song from my collection I have start listening to the album it's from and work my way from the first track to the last track. I also cannot stand a suffled playlist, it has to be sorted by artist and album >=[. I'm mainly a slob with everything else though so I think that's about it lol.
