I gotta say, it looks like Forza 3, with a plash of PGR, a wiff of GT, all on a new, finely prepaired base. My friends, Forza 4 looks like a fery tasty pizza, cant wait till its out. Im not entirely ssure about the whole kinect and new steering wheels additions to the game though.
I agree with shadow wave. I'll bet you any money that if this is rated and we don't have R18+ we will be guaranteed to have it RC (banned).
im really sick and tired of exclusive content like this. because if it isnt unlock-able through normal play or dlc purchase, you are FORCED (especially if your a fan) to either buy it from somewhere you may not want to buy it from or do without it. I do however loved things like exclusive skins for cars, or merchandise that doesn't affect the game play AT ALL. By all means do exclusives, but exclusives should never limit the the core of the game, like exclusive multiplayer maps, or exclusive weapons that give you an unfair advantage, cars in a racing game. When we buy a game, i think everyone should be entitled to the core of the game, even if they have to pay for it as DLC. HALO gets it right, all their pre order bonuses exclusive to certain stores, or special editions. its always exclusive skins and armor, etc. which ultimately dont stop you from experiencing everything the game has to offer.
I don't understand how delaying the game achieves anything? I wasn't aware that any of the in game locations were in Japan? are they going to stop distributing all the other games that have whole cities in an aftermath state of a post war or disaster?
Good game can do their show, they just have to be cautious about what content they allow to be presented through their show. Just like reviews about movies, they never show a sex scene or a shooting scene, yet the MA15+ movies are rated and reviewed on shows such as Kerry Anne, Good morning australia, that show after sunrise, all these shows. to add to the sad story that is what we see happening with getting R18+, I watched the video of Senator Kate Lundy presenting the signatures in parliament, and to be quite frank, it was embarrassing. see for yourself

Any one who complains at all about Killzone 2 or Killzone 3, should stick to playing FIFA and Call of Duty.
after grim one's comment, I completely loose track on where the comments are going, and now lost in cyberspace.
I've been playing this game for a little while now, and its actually fun, as for the gears comment, its using the unreal engine just like gears, so that's why it probably has the same smell. In the end it works quite well, I'm enjoying it.
Yeah it looks like its for small kids, but if your a real transformers fan, you will at least appreciate the story and authenticity that is in this game. Having said that, the other games were "crap" as you say, because they were movie tie ins, not just transformers.

Nice terminator scene rip off, and I'm hoping we may see some decent hand to hand combat in an fps for one, even if its a half mini game. Ill discuss with you soon Denny.
This is a must buy on release. I still can't emphasise enough how LBP is one of the greatest games in history.

i cant see much demand for this game, as a fan of the series back in the day i know how awesome they were, but descent 1 is just tooo aged and dont think it aged well at all. Descent 3 on the other hand could very easily come back as a classic, i look forward to the day someone gets off their ass and say, i think ill start plans for descent 4 today.
Can i just say, this is an awesome game, and for those people who abuse the GAME and EB 7 day return policy, you may as well pirate the game. Go and hire the game you scums, at least you actually paid for the experience. If you dont like the game fair enough. But if you do, at least either trade it in for like the special $70 to $90 value, or simply hire it for 2 or 3 nights.

Ok vent and rage over, back to your discussion about how awesome this game is.
I still dont see the argument, the MA15+ games we have, I think about 80% of them should be R18+ any ways, I don't think we should get more adult oriented content through in our games with the exception of things like having the uncensored version of Left 4 Dead 2, but I think we need to get this rating so that parents will stop buying their 5 year old kids, GTA and the like, i had a customer today who asked me for the best MA15+ games for her 6 year old kid because i quote "THATS WHAT HE LIKES, THE VIOLENT FIGHTING SHOOTING KILLING AND BLOODY GAMES" she was seeking out MA15+ games because her 6 year old likes it, WE NEED R18+ so parents like this realise, THIS IS NOT FOR YOUR 6 YEAR OLD KID. shit i dont care any more.

MA15+ requires age verification, the problem is, parents buy it for kids anyway. If i understand correctly, R18+ is in the same category as porn films, parents aren't allowed to legally show it to their under 18 kids.
Will you revise your review if the soon to be released patch and fixes, makes this MUCH better?

i agree juneau, it is the job of lawyers and politicians to use your words against you, and the fact that there is two main reasons to have R18+ in the systems divides the argument and our forces on the front into two groups, when you divide the opposition, your conquer them. They will do everything to divide us, confuse us, deter us, conquer us.

When i said submit i meant make a submission to the attorney generals office through the public consultation as to whether or not we should have an R18+ category for ratings. Submission close Feb 28, get cracking.
The sad thing about this is, allot of gamers will whine about the non existence of the R18+ rating for games, yet most are too lazy to go to this, or to even submit. Pull your finger out gamers, and grow up. Time to stand up for something.

I am a huge fan of the Splinter Cell franchise, ignoring Pandora Tomorrow which was slapped together by some tangent team, and just didn't utilise sam's abilities the way the franchise intended. Any ways, I have been anticipating this since December 06 when i first heard a new splinter cell was given the go ahead to begin early development, it is time sam, let us find out what really happened to your daughter.

But may I add that gaming products are taxed to the shit house and back in Australia (NFI why, movies and music aren't hit as bad either), which is why games, accessories and consoles are more expensive to buy here compared to most other countries.

no not mad, just old school. The fact is you can still play the games, having them played through a PS3 doesnt make "THAT" much of a difference in quality on a lcd/plasma. Imagine how much effort would go into making everyones fave games B/C? thats allot of time an $$.
