Re: Gaming Bargains V2 (1 year ago)
Is Chinatown Wars (PSP) for $10 a bargain? If so, Big W.
Re: Gaming Bargains V2 (2 years ago)
Are EB still doing double credit for PSP games? Are they just giving a few bucks per game these days?
Re: Gaming Bargains V2 (2 years ago)
Toys are also selling PS2s for $50.

By the way, thanks for the heads up. icon_wink.gif
Re: Play-Asia Coupons (3 years ago)
I have a $5 off $50 available. PM me if you want it.

Re: Play-Asia Coupons (3 years ago)
I have $5 off $50, $8 off 50, and $12 off $100, but not for people who join ten seconds before they PM me.
Re: Play-Asia Coupons (3 years ago)
I have an $8 off $50 coupon. PM me if you want it. (Still have the $12 off $100 coupon also.)
The Thin Red Line, hands down. I love that movie.
Re: Play-Asia Coupons (3 years ago)
Like everyone else I have a $12 off coupon. PM me if you want it.
I'm making my way through Modern Warfare on Veteran. I thought that I should try it out before the sequel, since it sounds like not much is different and the original has a better story. I haven't played a COD game before and it's surprisingly good. Veteran is very rewarding, much more challenging than Gears or Halo. (I just finished ODST which was pretty lame I have to say.) I guess my only complaint at the moment is the way enemy spawns are triggered. It sucks that I can't assess the number of enemies in the room, since they will keep pouring in until I move past some invisible line.
I prefer MGS to The Twin Snakes. I think it really suits the PSP too.
Re: Your newest purchase (3 years ago)
Today I picked up the first Modern Warfare (I started on Veteran and am having some trouble getting to the second floor of the TV station) and Borderlands. Modern Warfare 2 is in the mail.
Re: Play-Asia Coupons (3 years ago)
I have another $5 coupon if anyone wants it.
Re: Play-Asia Coupons (3 years ago)
PM me for a $5 coupon.
Re: Your newest purchase (3 years ago)
Just picked up a used PSP-1000 and Metal Gear Solid from the US PSN. Good times.
Re: Play-Asia Coupons (3 years ago)
Any spare coupons? I'm thinking of getting some N64 goods. icon_smile.gif
Re: Your newest purchase (3 years ago)

PS3 slim, Killzone 2, MGS4, LBP with Dualshock 3, 4 Egde magazine backissues ($1 each), DK Jungle Beat, Gameboy 4 player link (NEW! or so the box says), Gameboy camera, Japanese coach DS ($3).

I was very close to buying a second hand 20G or 60GB PS3 with PS2 support instead. I'm still not sure that I made the right decision, but whatever.
Re: Your newest purchase (3 years ago)
Shadow Complex
Gameboy micro
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
Correct. Wii, white or black, is 25,000 yen.
Re: Your newest purchase (3 years ago)
Viewtiful Joe
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Ikaruga (PAL)

I don't have a PAL console but it was cheap.
Bump. Nobody has this game?
To anyone that has Super Monkey Ball for Gamecube, can you please tell me what the various options are in the options menu. I have the Japanese version and it doesn't seem to be saving my progress. For example, if I finish the beginner mode, when I come back to play later I can't play those levels in practice mode. I'm not sure if it is a memory card issue since the Gamecube home menu shows that I have a Monkey Ball save game on my card. Any advice?
Re: Your newest purchase (3 years ago)
Splosion Man
Battlefield 1943
Gamecube console, Memory Card 251, Pikmin, Super Monkey Ball

Forget the Wii. Gamecube is where the action is.
Re: AU Xbox 360 in Japan (4 years ago)
I don't think that I'll be buying Japanese games. I just want to be able to keep and use my collection of Australian games. What about Live? Can I connect to my Australian account etc. from another country?
AU Xbox 360 in Japan (4 years ago)
I am moving to Japan in about a month and I want to know if I can get my 360 to work in Japan. Has anyone done this? Is it as simple as buying a 110V power supply from eBay? Are there different power supplies for the many slightly different 360 versions that have been released since launch? Otherwise I am thinking of selling my 360 and games and getting a PS3, since most of the games I want to keep playing are on both consoles and the PS3 is region free so I can take some Australian games with me.
