Seriously, why is this place still going. It's hilarious coming here but Roland and Co, it's dead. Leave it.
Re: Server transition (1 year ago)
Maybe the Riddler joined the forums?
I'm seeing them too btw.

Nice review Coltaine. I disagree on some of your points i.e. the lack of compelling nature to explore areas, or how the characters were not enjoyable, or how the story was disjointed (obviously this was purposely done). That said I also didn't like how there was very little thought put into weapons or any of the equipment for that matter.

Maybe it's cause I'm Catholic, or maybe because I haven't heard what Abbott has said on his religious views... but... what has he said?
Re: Your newest purchase (1 year ago)
Damn Vita buyers, my resolve is not holding.
Anyone know of a release list for the year for it?

Hmm.. the more I get into the game the more I think I might as well just go for Plat. I'll see how I go
Re: Borderlands 2 (1 year ago)
Great trailer, this is going to be all kinds of awesome! I loved Borderlands #1 so I'm slowly getting hyped for this.
Re: Goodbye, for now. (1 year ago)
All the best Shadow Wave but I'll bet you'll still be active, here or elsewhere. You can be a gamer, just not an insane hardcore gamer
Re: Interesting/amazing news (1 year ago)
^ I don't see too much dysfunction. Give Joe Hockey time, he'll be the next leader of the party.
Re: Interesting/amazing news (1 year ago)
People hate Abbott... I don't know why. Both Gillard and Rudd have a lot of hate (and support) depending who you ask. Personally, I believe that regardless who leads Labour, they are toast this election.
And it's funny how both Gillard and Rudd had stabs at Abbott during their speeches (which sounded a lot like election speeches). Liberals must be laughing at the moment, watching Labour implode.

Edit: Anyway, with any luck I'll platinum this game tonight. I just need to complete the bestiary to get the last fragment, then I just need to clean up a few trophies(capturing Don Tonberry, beating a particular rare monster in Oerba and doing 1000 total paradign shifts) before completing the game again to get the secret ending which I'm hoping is worth the effort.
Re: FFXIII-2 (1 year ago)
I'm starting to get burnt out, which is exactly what happened with the first one. I don't find combat stimulating at all, hell, most of it is 'press A to win' (auto attack) with the odd paradigm switch every now and then. Ah well, I may just rush to the end and youtube the special ending, but I'll see how it goes.

Haha nice work PixieGirl, damn you're PC gaming nut

What level bonuses did you guys go after first? My sister says to get the boosts, as those options disappear later. That true?
I really want the ATB gauge.
EDIT: I went with the RAV Boost I and II for Serah, and COM Boost I and II for Noel. I bet I regret it. Really think I should have got the ATB gauge and unlocked some other roles. :S

Re: Games Everybody Else Loves But You Don't (1 year ago)
Boss fights are usually very anti-climatic. I'm struggling to remember one that won me over. Castlevania Symphony of the Night had great boss fights actually, but that's my fav game of all time!
Re: Your newest purchase (1 year ago)
Let me know what you think of Binary Domain Ad!
Re: What really ticks you off? (1 year ago)
I don't know what's going on in Perth, but judging from my experience on the road in a short 20 minutes during my lunch break, everyone has caught a case of 'unable to drive-itis'. I had three, THREE!!!! people almost smash into me cause they tried to change into my lane without looking, and thus, seeing me there! GRRR
Re: Binary Domain (1 year ago)
Any reviews out?
Re: FFXIII-2 (1 year ago)
Can you infuse monsters from different classes? I.e. can you infuse a medic mob with a syn mob and have it cast syn spells?
Re: FFXIII-2 (1 year ago)
Hmmm.. haven't seen Cloudburst. Nor have I infused any creatures yet
Re: FFXIII-2 (1 year ago)
I've only captured the yellow chocobo so far. I'm using flanitor as my med but usually use a Rav (Serah), Com (Noel) and another Rav as my usual.
Re: FFXIII-2 (1 year ago)
Just entered the Steppes; it looks a lot nice than the other zones. Having a great time so far and the game is really stepping up to the plate. Nothing *fantastic* (ToV is still the gem in my eyes) but xiii-2 is really what xiii should've been.
So far I've collected all the fragments that I could get and my guys are probably overpowered
On the subject of monsters, what monsters do you guys recommend for the different roles? Do you have favourites?

Re: What made you smile today? (1 year ago)
Nah, I had a great time. Heaps of people I hadn't seen in ages so we had lots to talk about and the show was good. I didn't think so at first, but apparently I didn't need to be drunk to have a good time.
A few of us (my brother and other cousins) told my cousin not to get only Jacks but he didn't listen. While it was all gone by the end of the night, a lot of people went out and brought back their own booze as they didn't want Jacks either. I don't see why people love Jacks and Coronas, there are better choices on the market considering how much they cost. But that's my two cents. (for the record, I had a couple of Jacks before I figured that was enough of the taste).
The skimpies... well... I don't know, apart from one who must've been a professional full time skimpy or something like that (judging by her merc, couture clothes, nicely done (i.e. not over the top) plastic surgery, well spoken and actually provided people drinks and cleaned up), all the rest were just *very* average to look at and crap at the job. I think my cousin actually told a couple of them to start doing their job instead of smoking/chatting on their phones/watching the pornos on TV as others were complaining that they weren't getting served. And considering how much they cost, you would want them to do their job!

Re: What made you smile today? (1 year ago)
Went to my cousin's bucks night on Saturday night. He had it in his garage/driveway/front yard (marquee was up) for about 60-80 friends. I was the DD that night so I only had a couple of drinks, which luckily, I didn't mind as the only booze on offer was Corona (ew) and Jacks (ew) (I'm a booze snob). The stripper was great, the skimpies not so; apart from one, they were all 'letting it go' and rather crap at the job of supplying drinks.
Anyway, I left at midnight and they were still going. Upon leaving I remember seeing people shaking and spraying Coke bottles on the roof and a whole bunch of heavily intoxicated guys staggering about. Apparently they kept going and one by one, all brought their night of drinking up. Very glad I wasn't there for that

It's the fact that he bases his decisions based on his religion.
As a high end politician, if your decision is majority based on your religeous viewpoint and stance, you shouldn't **** be there.
ie. I'm all for some sort of gay marriage. Most politicians aren't because it's against there 'religious stance'. Well good for them, but that shouldn't hold as an answer. It's not there decision. It's the peoples. And that is whats those politician **** forget.
