blazblue Continuum Shift EXTEND Limited Edition (vita) from ozgameshop for $42.49 AU (used my $10 gift cert from player points)
i'd hardly call LA Noire's price a "special" as it is heavily price gouged.
just purchased the GTA complete pack off steam from their latest sale ($17 USD) includes all DLC.

I really really really really bloodly hate world 4-2 but it my own damn fault for playing when I had a really really bad day. I mean with the god damn reapers and the soul things with that spell, and hidden enemies that keep killing me I mean come on, an hour and a half and I got nothing to show for it.

Will try again when I'm not as pissed off.

Sorry guys I just wait till I've cool down.
world 4-2 is one of the easiest and also the best to farm souls in as long as you have a bow + thief ring. Just kill the reapers to destroy their summons (takes about 5 arrows max).

Before you enter the 3rd floor going down enter the 3rd floor to trigger the spawn of the reaper and return to the 2nd floor overlooking the area to kill the reaper with a bow.

shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes to reach the boss
towards the end I'm sure I saw braig(Xigbar) there; guess that means his back considering this is set after kingdom hearts 2

SO when is it hitting the Aus PSN Store?
it won't be; considering mortal kombat 9 was RC'ed I doubt they are interested in releasing the collection here.
bit disgusting that they still insist on price gouging; it shouldn't be $100 dearer than the american price drops.
purchased fear 3 from ozgameshop (pc version) for $43.49 AU

You meant $29 (for Atelier Rorona) right Jedi?
$58 seems correct because of the soundtrack; no idea where the $79 comes in though.

the witcher blood of elves $8 book depository. (in the mail dispatched the 9th)
I almost ordered this last night. Instead I decided to just go with The Last Wish to start with. If I like that, I'll probably be ordered Blood of Elves too.
originally I was going to go with the last wish but was a bit hesitant because it's a bunch of short stories rather than one long book; my plan is after finishing the blood of elves to finish off the novels (atleast the ones in english) before trying the short stories.

berserk manga vol 1-3 - $40.56 (amazon.uk)

the witcher blood of elves $8 book depository. (in the mail dispatched the 9th)

Secondly: Really? Fighting skin only in a pub while wearing leather gauntlets and ****? That's just cheating Geralt.
Geralt is a hybrid that's part monster, complaining about the leather gauntlets despite him already having a biological advantage seems a bit redundant.
can't wait to play this, though the fighting in the pub thing looked a bit awkward.
nothing to do with the parents, in fact most parents were in support of the R18+ for games the only groups against it were (according to the report based on submissions to that minister for home affairs)

- the australian christian lobby
- a few womens groups
- some anti-gun rights group

Remember, you are allowed to import RC material as long is it's not illegal.
actually thats incorrect you are not allowed to import RC items into any state/Territory and in W.A. (i believe this is the state could be another state) its illegal to posses RC items

BUT thankfully for the most part customs don't care/don't check so its easy to get RC games into the country.
stupid government and its nanny brigade.
the reason they don't want to bring it in is due to they know the australian christian lobby will be bombarding them with noisy phone messages to complain; the ACL is a very noisy minority with to much power (some catholic bishops group was in support of the R18+ they got bombarded with phone calls from the ACL)

DNF should be fine.

Lets see, monsters with bare breasts. The God of Wars, Dante's Inferno had them.

Human bare breasts.Again the GoW's, DI had them and Splatterhouse had them.Hell Playboy The Mansion was full of them.

If GTA TLatD and Dante's Inferno could get past with bare penis in them then surely bare breasts don't matter.

Now the violence. The trailer doesn't seem exccesively violent and we are killing made up aliens, not humans so the violence shouldn't matter.
the biggest problem is the steroid taking, the oflc cause a fuss if a game has any form of drug taking (such as fallout). So unless the game renames the steroids to something else for Australia, its going to be a close call if they say yes or no.
now lets see if our archaic rating system will allow this game into the country. Looks likely to be RC'ed atleast in the games current form.

^ Stupid spamming bot.

Anyway

Mafia II: US $53.59 / AU $54.38 / GBP £13.39

The prices there for the GBP don't seem to add up right. That looks really cheap, otherwise it's expensive for the AUD and USD, but I'm gonna go with the former.
just had a check on the uk steam store and it's correct, so I guess the british got lucky.
an unfortunate problem seems to be that this is only aiming at increasing the rating of existing games.

So its possible this move will still result in games getting censored or banned just like before it doesn't look like the government has fully listened

Especially when o'connor says existing games that have been RC'ed won't be allowed to be unbanned/put into an R18+ category.
Re: Singularity edited ? (2 years ago)
according to the OFLC website its the original version so its safe to presume its unedited.
think theres a mistake with your tropico 3 gold edition pricing; its $7.50 US , 7.66 AU

just reading that article; regarding the comment from the dynmocks guy; why isn't he complaining over the parallel import laws that force the prices of books in Australia up? not only for customers but retailers as well.

if he wants to start talking about "level the playing field" a start would be removing those laws.

Except that adding a GST to items under $1000, will still most likely be cheaper than buying here, and people will still import anyway.
the problem though is it makes small imports worthless as there is a mandatory $50 or so customs fee and another smaller fee (forgot what it was for) for all imports that attract gst.

so there will be 3 additional costs involved if harvey gets his way which will be atleast $60 extra.
