Congrats on your milestone and thanks for keeping up the activity - even though things have changed a bit around here and many of those old faces have gone elsewhere it's always great to see the old crew from the glory days doing their best to keep good conversation going.

So this was my first steam sale with a dedicated gaming PC and unlimited internet plan so as you can imagine it got quite...well...exciting...

Considering it would be illegal to alter any prices from those that appear in the catalog i'm sure it isn't worth their effort to change ticket prices for the sake of a few $$...coming from someone who worked a bunch of these nights we never changed stuff in our store...

My bad - What I mean is the new games in general appear to becoming more and more simplified which is being led by the hardware. In terms of the software presented it was either new casual junk OR sequels and reboots...
Couldnt agree more Cian - the whole innovation and 'look at me im different' over a quality gaming experience has frustrated me ever since I ran out of first party titles on the wii - its been collecting dust for years now.

I have a ps3 and 360 yet am not interested by move or kinect. I like my controller having a buttload of buttons and I like to play games that are immersive. I dont like the competition companies are having trying to see who can have less buttons on their controllers and who can waggle things at the screen more.

I feel after E3 that the casual market is the winner yet again - with so many ports, sequels and reboots it just seems like something is missing. That wow factor.
This news makes tomorrows Corporation Law exam a little less painful!
Yeh won't be rushing out to get this though am happy to keep an open mind and my opinion may change.

Good to see some more mature/hardcore titles being available but we will have to wait and see how they turn out.

I can just see all the returns at work for people who step on their controllers haha

Prays to god that cafe brings more depth to gaming than the wii did. Im all for innovation but I dont think ive ever regretted a console purchase before or since I bought that little white waste of money.

Sony are making damn near unbearable - all i want to do is update my 2k11 rosters and yet I cant access psn or the website to change my password...grrr

That is a key factor, also ebfore the season started they came out and said they were going to win no less than seven championships together and pretty much that no one could ever beat them.

Im with Leon on this one - if anything the free 30 days of + is good marketing on Sony's behalf - especially if the + content is lost after the 30 days (the free content anywho). As a standard psn user this is of no real benefit to me.

I wonder if Sony is going to ask you to enter CC details when activating your 30 days of +, what a slap in the face that would be!

But in all seriousness, i would consider purchasing a nintendo console again if it combined the great gameplay with non terrible graphics. Im no graphics snubs but cmon guys - 480p is a joke these days!

It will take some convincing for me to buy another ninty console at launch after the disgrace (yes i know its financially successful) of the wii.
Used to love these back in the PS1 days...will keep an eye out for it!

Missed out on the first show due to having no $$ and was so amazingly pumped to find they announced a 2nd show at a smaller venue which is so full of win.

Tickets were only $65 and considering they are the best band in the wolrd (living) I am a happy little potatoe!!

Yeh I think I will be passing on the 3ds as well. The more I read the more I regret selling my DSL and will most likely just go pick up another one now.
