i had that same problem with my benq on vista x64 the only way i managed to change it was by changing from dvi to vga cable. but then i upgraded to windows 7 and no more problems. (knock on wood)

i had the orange key stop working on me too opened the neck of the guitar and moved the PCB from behind the clips to infront of them not had a problem scince

rockband lost my money a long time ago and i lost hope with EA a long time before that. dont get me wrong i would have purchased if it had come out within a month or 2 of the USA edition, at a reasonable price (not double the price).

world tour has got my money hands down even if it comes out after rockband/2 (if it manages to do it in a reasonable time frame and price). its fine EA wants to milk the cash cow, where it can get the most money from its sales but dont expect me to pay a premium to be treated like second class citizen (not even im that screwed up)

i've recently moved home and would normally go to MSY to get some new pc parts, but now as im in rural WA where is best place to order parts from online that will deliver out here?

heres what im after at the mo
a bigger hdd 500GB-1TB
a USB DVB hdtv capture card
and probably a new wireless network card (damn i hate that vista doesn't accept legacy drivers)

1) no region locks for games or movies

2) let games die while its on top (no more sequals, more new orginal games/ips)

3) less cross platfrom games, give me a reason to buy different consoles and not because that port is more glossy or has the added dlc included but is released a year later

mothers day is just around the corner and my mum does enjoy playing a bit of wii sports. i was hoping to find something similar that she might like for mothers day, has any one got any suggestions.

Marka i would send the xbox in, they have a stress test dvd they use which pretty much throws the worst things the xbox hardware can handle.

not a happy chappy.

the ebay store i ordered GTA4 from still hasn't shiped the game even though i preordered and paid for express air shipping and it was sposed to be sent off on the 26-28th then the 29th and finally the 30th. so today filled a comlaint with paypal asking for a refund.

I hope my special edition comes in a timely fashion from Jb-hifi

I think Ms dropped the ball before the release of GTA4, I would have thought that they would have popped up the GTA 3, VC and SA to download before the release. atleast this way i could have a GTA fix while waiting for my copy of GTA to arrive.

Also the games they have up there are not my kinda thing (wishes for conkers bad fur day to arrive)

it hasn't been refused classification though, the edits were made before it was classified.

Metal Gear Solid - PS1

skived the day from school knew nothing about the game just hanging around the shops and had seen the nice looking artwork outside my local indy game shop and decided to pickup a copy, what a treat i was in for it kept me entertained for months progressing through each setting. i had lot of games before but they were either bought by my parents or traded other games to get them.

well the UK PAL one on the torrents is said to be playable on the AUS 360 so hopefully its true (but if they wanted they could still make it play censored)..... but alas i haven't got a modified 360 and as i've spent all me money buying the special edition and standard uk edition im not going to ruin it for myself. im going to patiently wait and kick the cat if it doesn't work, beware tiddles.

Well i've ordered 2 copies one special edition from jb-hifi and a standard from the UK but as im in rural WA i doubt i will be playing this on the 29th.

so i think ill have to avoid the the net for the next week or so.
