Re: Movies (Rules on First Page) (9 years ago)
Secret Window: ***1/2 (Three and one half stars)
Keeps you on the edge of your feet, exciting, camera work is very moody and premotes suspense in an otherwise bland (in terms of action), but still creative, story. A little predictable, falls apart towards the end.
Johnny Depp holds it together...

yet another of James' bad ideas...
Re: Lil help with buying a game from USA (1 decade ago)
...have you even imported more then just one or two games? Not recommended. Customs duty itself will be $110...It's definitely better to get stuff from burn in many circumstances. Since they would have an agreement to get cheap shipping...since its based in QLD, and probably wouldn't pay customs duty.
Re: Lil help with buying a game from USA (1 decade ago)
LOL
That's pretty darn expensive...I guess it's only worth getting non hand-held console games there.
bummer.
Sorry bout that.

Re: Lil help with buying a game from USA (1 decade ago)
You should try www.burn.com.au, they do the hard bit for you. They already have the games imported to Australia. They deal in US, JAP, and PAL titles...it's a little more expensive but the ship over night and you don't have to worry about UPS kicking your package around, which they DO!
...
so...BURN are very good.
PS they are based in Brisbane last time I checked...you should give there web-site a go...if you don't mind waiting and want to purchase overseas...don't use amazon...try liksang.com they're the best by far!
Hope that helped!

Speculation: CAPCOM working on next ZELDA? (NOT THE GBA ONE) (1 decade ago)
Many gamers are speculating that CAPCOM's relatively secret title GACHA FORCES, is indeed another CAPCOM/NINTENDO developed ZELDA project.
The root of this guestimation comes from the tentative title GACHA FORCE...this may seem a little bit of a weak connection, but, gacha seeds were a major element of the oracle games for GBC. They were seeds that Link planted in order to grow trees in different enviroments, bearing fruits, or prizes, that were determined by the players actions, skill, progression and enemy kills in the games.
"Planting Gacha Seeds in rough dirt will later yield fruit-bearing trees. The trees grow different kind of fruits with different powers depending on where they were planted and what actions Link has taken elsewhere. Link's behavior will also affect which of dozens of magic rings he earns." - GIA
It is perhaps more interesting to note the purpose of these seeds in the game (mentioned above). This could be a big hint as too the nature of this would be ZELDA title...either that or the word gacha is an english translation of a very common japanese word.
Here's hoping that if this is indeed true that the ZELDA will be damn good...actually that guaranteed.
