I sometimes feel like I've burned out on rhythm games but both The Beatles Rock Band and this game have me pretty damn excited.

Yeah definitely check out the State Library, there's a free exhibit on the history of writing in Australia (if you're into that sort of thing). Also check out Degraves street if you want some lunch or a coffee, there's some interesting graffiti around there too that you should check out!

Charging for news might not even translate into higher quality articles. I'm sure there are plenty of writers that hand in high quality pitches to their editors only to be told to bugger off and write some stupid fluff piece or toe the party line.
Also there are plenty of other ways for them to profit from their online content. Surely they could try advertising models or something. Either way all they'll end up doing is turning people away. They certainly aren't the only source of news on the web and anyone wanting intelligent articles written by talented individuals should really be looking elsewhere anyway.
