Yeah.. a little dissapointed actually. The teaser art in stores is much better. The dude on that cover doesnt look bad-ass. he just looks awkward.

I recently purchased this and while I agree that COD4, Warhawk and KZ2 are great online shooters, Ive found this to be a great alternative style.
Much more tactical, and feels much more rewarding when you actually win. No lag issues, but my game does quit itself to the XMB sometimes... (I bought it off the PSN - love having it on the Hard drive!)

I disagree that sequels dont attract a new audience. I never played a MGS game before - but the hype and great reviews of MGS4 were so good that I wanted to be apart of it. I bought it- and loved it.. now I want to go back and play the old ones to see what i missed out on.
I bought COD4 - not only because it was a sequel, but moreso because just how good the game looked (it was very different to the older ones). But the old games had good hype about them.
Sequals are not just because developers want more $$$ (even though im sure its a reason).. but gamers ask for it. Look at GTA - now who DOESNT want another GTA?

Theyre not JUST removing the song because of the RELIGIOUS implacations (which warrant enough for it to be moved imo), but also because of what the words ACTUALLY translate to in english.
Patching it still leaves it as only an "option" for people.
Re releasing is the only proper way to deal with it.
Ps. I am very happy with the comments on this site in relation to it... seem people from PAL territories are nowhere near as rude and uneducated as from Some OTHER country/ies (cough cough star spangled banner cough.. psu.com)

My ps3 was fine. I Think most ppls were- it was a minor fault with SOME ps3s... everyoneis making it out to be a huge deal when it wasnt to 99.9% of ps3s
