What doesnt make sense is that the game has been rated for release in Germany... Who are a lot stricter then Australia... This really makes the OFLC look like a bunch of hypocrits...
If the members of each state are to immature to let the public decide on an R18 rating then someone above them with more power needs to step in and make some changes.

So if they dont modify the game for a MA rating I guess Adult aussie gamers are forced to import and risk the chance of customse seizing the items or Pirate...
I agree with the point above, we cant blame & flame the OFLC for banning a game for not fitting in the MA rating but seriouslt why the hell cant we have the R rating already...
Its getting old... Maybe we should just give in, trade in all our stuff and get a wii and games and try and stomach 90% of the kiddie crap thats on their and try and sleep at night knowing they've filtered our internets and try to be oblivious too the AWESOME games we are being denied of.

This has been on mmo-champion for a few weeks, where they found facial textures for goblin and worgen (male/female).
A lot of people have been banned on the official forums talking about this rumor and in turn spreading more.

I love when people talk about sales figures or what the believe them to be in their arguments with out actualy knowing them...
He would only make comments like this for one of two reasons...
Actilizzard are actually starting to lose money developing on sony platforms, which isnt that unlikely there are a lot of costs im sure when making software and the industry has made it quite clear that Sony is hard/costly beast to develop for.
Or the even more likely... Kotick wants sony to drop their price, increasing the sell through of sony units thus increaseing the total sell through of Actilizzards games across the platform.
You gotta remember that these guys are made privy to information we'll never see, so i find it interesting he would make comments like this.

Natal has the ability to make massive difference with the 360 as does Sony's venture into motion control (both i feel are superior too the wii mote even with motion plus but both probably wouldn't exist with out nintendo's efforts).
I cant wait too see how they can use these technologies and adapt them to the games I love playing already!!

It just a release for the fans or people addicted too jrpg's. The people that will (in most cases) pay a premium for the opportunity to play. Hell people are still paying $150+ for FF7 and 8 (and the rest) for PS1... How is that hard to understand? You either want it or you dont theres little room for inbetween for these kind of titles and that directly related to your taste in games.

Working retail over crissy 360 smashed ps3. Wii though is still an unrelenting juggernaut... They've sold so many now it's hard to believe that there are still people out there that dont have one yet... I play 360 and ps3 myself and loathe the wii but nintendo have just marketed the machine perfectly. Assholes. lol.

I'm with TPG ADSL2+ and I'm pretty much on top of the exchange. I havent been with them for long but I got caught up with the major issues they were having through out may etc.

Mine installed and run with out a hitch. I got the collectors edition too.
Allthough while playing last night I'd be in game for an hour or so and the game would freeze and boot me to windows. Happened a couple of times.

I dont agree that Tuner cars are on the decline at all.
However in NFS games its getting stale. This might be another attempt to cash in on the up and coming F&F movie.
I'm tired of seeing my hobby done wrong also, they make drifting and touge so damn easy that there's no skill required to do it. If real life we're like these games I would have saved a lot of $$$ on upgrades for my car. But thats why I play Live For Speed haha. I can thrash a virtual car and leave mine in the garage until a track day approaches.

I've been playing the multiplayer BETA and its pretty generic.
Id say rename it and re brand it all. Change the content ever so slightly to allow it to be released with out the liscence holders being able to do anything about it.

I've worked this industry for nearly 7 years and this is whats taking place in Australian retail stores. Nintendo software doesnt sell as fast or in the same amounts as Sony or Microsoft products. Nintendo has been round for much longer then either of them though (Sony & MS). They had a user base before there ever was a playstation or an xbox.
Im certain they are selling their machines like hotcakes but I'd like to see some numbers on their software sales. From what I've experienced thorugh the years is that Nintendo software doesnt self half as fast as Sony or Microsoft's.
Having awesome numbers spilled to us means nothing without taking in the bigger picture.
Thus any press release from any company should be regarded as propaganda and taken with a grain of salt.
Just my 2 cents, make of it what you will.
