Metal Gear Online to be bundled with Metal Gear Solid 4

PS3 News | Details of multiplayer revealed too.
A post on VGBlogger claims that the latest issue of PlayStation - The Official Magazine contains new details and screenshots of forthcoming espionage title Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The post confirms that Metal Gear Online, the multiplayer variant announced earlier this year, will be bundled with MGS4. Whether or not it will be the full version of MGO, or just a 'starter pack' with a full version to be released separately is currently unknown.

News of the exact nature of MGO's multiplayer has also emerged, with up to 16 players battling in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill and Team Sneak modes on five different maps. Players will be able to customise their characters using up to three skills, and the player's skills and weapons will improve over time.

Even if it's not the full version. It still good news that it contains a part of MGO.

I'm pretty sure that most of the article has been known since TGS.
I'm almost certain Ryan Payton said there giving a 'starter pack' with MGS4.

I agree with you. I will only buy ps3 for MGS4 and MGO so far.

I'm lost my hunger for MGS4 in a way. All the delays and good season of gaming have somewhat made my eagerness for this game deminish.

I don't see much value in MGO myself, I do think they it would be rather boring and slow.

Yea this is what I recall also. Unless plans have changed since then, I'd assume that will be the case still.

I hope the full version of MGO is bundled because I don't usually buy games anymore unless they have an online mode. They'd have to be great games for me to want to buy for offline only. Online play adds so much more lifespans to games for me now.

I am soooo teaming up with you bastards for some online team deathmaction.
