No LittleBigPlanet demo in 2007

Sony's LittleBigPlanet looks to be one of the most promising games for the PlayStation 3 to date, but news running through the wire today suggests that we will not be playing the game at all in 2007. While the final game has been labelled for 2008 for many months, there was hope that we would see a demo or possibly even a public beta release - but nope, nothing, nada.

Speaking to MTV Multiplayer, Sony Computer Entertainment America's Ron Eagle stated "I can officially confirm that there won’t be a demo this year." He went on to suggest that Sony will not be showing off any more of the game in 2007, but did say that it was a lot of fun, having sampled 30 of the planned 50 levels for the final version of the game.

LittleBigPlanet is just one of many key PlayStation 3 titles planned for release in 2008 that has Sony fans foaming at the mouth. PALGN will have more on the game in the coming months.

Although this does suck LBP is more likely the game that..well Im not sure how to explain it.

But to me LBP is something of a demo that would ruin the proper game. Because when you think of it, the only difference between the demo and the real thing they could really do is the restriction of certain features such as importing images from the hard-drive.

Its almost like having a demo of tetris. What gives?

2008 is indeed a much better year for the PS3.

God of War 3, Little Big Planet, these are some BIG games. Sony will indeed be making a comeback. How big a comeback just depends.

2008 is only a couple of weeks away for all we know the demo could come in the first week of 2008. i would prefer a demo closer to the release date rather then too early atleast then if i like it i dont have to wait as long.
