PlayStation Store updated

PS3 News | Not much of an update.
While over in the US they got High Velocity Bowling and the GTA IV trailer, Australians have received a bit of a poor update for the PlayStation Store today.

There's a Kane and Lynch demo and eight free PlayStation 3 themes for Mesmerize, Tori Emaki, Heavenly Sword, MotorStorm, Snakeball, Lemmings, Killzone 2 and Singstar. Unfortunately, that's about it for today's update, so we'll keep our fingers crossed for High Velocity Bowling or the GTA IV trailer next week.

I downloaded all the themes this morning, the only thing I liked about most of them is that they didn't that the standard sounds.

The MotorStorm theme was 15MB... kinda weird that it was so big compared to the others which had a max of around 3MB.

lol a Kane and Lynch demo and a couple of themes head over to the American store if you want more stuff. The latest GTA IV trailer is available for download on the American store.

i couldn't be bothered reading the article. If you have an American account check out the latest GTA IV trailer it's awesome in HD there on your PS3 hardrive so you can watch it anytime you want.

Europe and AU getting shafted on PSN updates again. Pitty out complaints go unheard in the din of noise all of the US smack tards are making about in game XMB.

You forgot to mention there is more downloadable content for both motorstorm and folklore in todays update.

The biggest insult of all I reckon is that we STILL don't have f*cking Guitar Hero DLC. That's all I really want, and everything we do end up getting is pretty much crap.
Also, we missed out on the Uncharted and Ratchet themes, which are better than the ones we got, for some randomly lame reason.
And don't get me started on the bloody PSOne games.... (altho I just have to vent this one: we got a glitchy version of Spyro 2 which didn't work. Fair enough, they took it off the store and refunded the money people spent on it. But now the US has Spyro 1, and we still get mostly sh!t.)

It should be made clear that Euro PSN also gets stuff the US dosen't - like kula world last week. I don't think they got Kane & Lynch demo either. so it goes both ways - but yeah, i'd prefer to be able to access the purchasable content on the US store.

I assumed it was due to all the new annoying car sound effects added when you apply this theme.

Motostorm theme is big because the Wallpaper changes all the time you go in and out of XMB icon_smile.gif

Did anyone try the Kane & Lynch demo?

I tried the Kane and Lynch Demo. its ok for a shooter style game but i think it will be a game to hire rather than buy.
I really wish the store would get Guitar hero DLC i'm sick of playing the game and being told the content is available for download

Yes i tried the demo and i can see why it got a 6 out of 10 The AI is pathetic the crew is as smart as a brick wall the cover system is just plain stupid. And the grenade toss is beyond pathetic. It's like watching someone really bad at sport try and toss a tennis ball. I thought Kane and Lynch were mad man. And lynch tosses a grenade like a bloody nancy boy bloody pathetic.

I did like the 3rd person view for shooting though very nice. The graphics weren't to bad either. I won't be buying this game. I was though. Before i played a demo and read reviews.
