Win one of five copies of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men

PS3 Competition | We wouldn't be caught dead without it.
PALGN has teamed up with Atari to give away five copies of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men for the PlayStation 3, four of which are up for anyone to win. Kane & Lynch: Dead Men tells the story of two men who have been pushed to the brink - one is a failed mercenary, whose loved ones are being held at ransom, while the other is a medicated psychopath. The game will be available on November 23rd for $109.95.

The journey through the game is being described as tense and unpredictable, as despite the fact that the two men hate each other, they must work together in order to achieve their goals. You will need to make use of the crowded areas that you'll come across to complete your objectives. The game is played entirely from the 3rd person perspective, so you'll do all your combat from this perspective as well as perform actions such as rappelling down buildings. In single player, players will take control of Kane. However, the entire game can be played through in co-op with each player taking control of Kane and Lynch.

Entering in the competition is simple, all you have to do is head over to the Atari's Kane & Lynch: Dead Men website and grab the answer the following question Who are the creators of Kane & Lynch, who previously created the Hitman series?. Then, with the answer in hand, head over to the competition entry page and put in the answer. Then tell us in 25 words or less "If you were stuck with someone in a life and death situation, who would it be and why? ". Don't be afraid to let your imagination run wild. Throw in your details, including name and address, and four lucky people who guess the correct answer will win a copy of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men for the PlayStation 3.

Those who can count to five would realise there are only four copies to be given away. The fifth copy is up for auction now - all you have to do is participate in our forums by writing reader reviews or making comments on the boards. Doing so earns you $poons, which can then can be used to purchase items in our auction system.

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men will be available on the 23rd November, 2007. PALGN would like to thank Atari for the prizes.

ok - so are the copies up for grabs PS3 only, or include XBox 360 version?

i ask because the article words say one thing (PS3), but the categorisation says another (XBox 360).

(nevermind - it was fixed to "PALGN Competition" instead of "XBox 360 Competition".)

I want this game, but I don't think I want it on PS3.

^ Likewise - still, it's good to see PS3 gamers getting some PALGN lovin' too.

Now now Luke, you should know by now, no one actually reads the articles people just make decisions on the forums/site based off the little man sitting on their shoulder.

Oh cool, another game in the Auction arena for TheAnswer to win.

(Yes I am bitter that he beat me twice in the past. Twice. Two times).

Well I can't help that *hands crestfallen some tissues* icon_lol.gif

I don't have the most spoons anyway, so someone else will most likely beat me if I bid on it on the auctions but I think this time I might actually sit this auction out to be fair to others.

Congrats to PalGN and Atari for offering a great competition

We'll throw a second title up, that way the top bidder won't get both? How does that sound? icon_wink.gif

it did initially say XBox 360 competition - which is why i asked for clarification, but it was changed while i was posting the question.

I entered and then I realised I didn't add my State and Postcode in the address lol
Would I just be emailed if I won, to give the rest of the details? (Not that I'll win or anything XD )

^ Yes

and Yes Obs it was for a moment on 360 but that was for a short moment, and the article never said 360.

A big F You to the creator of the flash content at the top of the game website. It scared the crap out of me. Plus it keeps looping.

Oh man, I want this game so bad. I haven't put down by my PS3 controller ever since I bought the console.

I might just have to enter this one, my PS3 is screaming at me for love. (and I tend to give in to it, I played like at least an hour of Everyday Shooter last night)

so you carry it everywhere? must be strange having you take the controller into the shower/toilet etc icon_wink.gif icon_lol.gif

Had to enter this one...I've convinced myself to buy a PS3 after exams, so any extra incentive is just gravy. Plus, Kane and Lynch looks about as fresh as games come- it'll be a pearler, mark my words!

Auction copy is already very $poony (pricey).

Won't be entering as I don't have a PS3.

Thats because some people have a habit of bidding straight away on these type of auctions when they have weeks to run thus driving the price up, guess they get a case of "auction mania". Same sort of thing happens on ebay etc too icon_lol.gif

If would be more interesting having a last few days bidding frenzy then going all out straight away IMHO icon_wink.gif

Well, I try to avoid showering as much as possible and I'm very careful when I wipe. icon_biggrin.gif

Seriously though, all those months ago when people were asking what games we were looking forward to on the PS3, this is the only one that I was "thuper ekthited" about and I mentioned it rather often.

So please. Throw this game in my hands... christmas is going to kill my bank account. icon_mad.gif

Just to throw everyone back onto the topic of if it's 360 or PS3 read the T&C:

Quote

So despite the auction being listed for PS3 is it actually the 360 version? Not that it bothers me, I'd only want it on PC icon_biggrin.gif
