Haha, I want to go as well, sounds awesome! Now if I can just find a spare $16 for a ticket.. icon_sad.gif Well, I'll go if I can, I've been interested since I first heard about it last month, Eye of Judgment alone is certainly tempting for a start.

Edit: Ok, I'm going on the Sunday. icon_smile.gif

I'm trying to think what's worse... paying monthly for an online subscription to... say, WoW; or paying for "booster card packs" for a video game.

if i could go i would go just for that game.

I'll be there but more for work than anything else since I'll be camera man for some up coming goodness. Also $160 for Judgment is a little steep don't you think, I mean sure it's cool with the camera and all but they could get it a little less I would imagine.

I'd pick whatever costs more icon_razz.gif

I've tried one, I'm certainly not going to try the other.

LoL have seen little kids buy Yugioh and Pokemon cards it's scary seeing purchases like that I'll reckon people will just eat up the booster packs.

Seems a little odd to be listing the Melbourne one and not the Sydney one.

There is also one happening at Supanova Expo in Sydney this weekend

Or you could always import. icon_wink.gif I've seen some very good deals on Eye of Judgment. And as Donovan says, it seems like pretty good value to me even at full retail price. Sure, it is a lot to pay just to play the game, but you are getting the camera which is something that will be used in a number of other games in the future, plus it can be used as a webcam.

I think the Eye has a lot more potential than the EyeToy simply because digital downloads enable developers to make short, crazy games and offer them to everyone with a PS3 for $5-$10, rather than the EyeToy pricing model, where you'd get maybe one or two minigame compilations a year for full price, usually packed in with the camera you already own.
