TGS 07: PlayStation Home delayed until next year

PS3 News | Disappointing.
Sony Computer Entertainment's president Kaz Hirai has revealed during Sony's keynote speech at the Tokyo Game Show that Home has unfortunately been delayed until Spring 2008 in America, this means Autumn for those of us in Australia.

Home is such an ambitious project it's no surprise it has been delayed. Apparently Sony wants to "truly meet the needs and feedback of the users" before they are ready to release the title.

Ohhhh noooo i can't believe this. This is shocking seriously sony needs to lift with it's services. I want to be able to view who is online while i am playing or viewing messages while i am in the game. How about speaking to someone while playing a game. Well it looks like i will be playing my 360 even more. What about trophies noooo next year pfft.

Sony has a long way to go imo to make it anywhere as good interface as 360's. I suppose my ps3 will collect even more dust while i use my 360 heaps ahh well. I was really looking forward to home on the trophies aspect.

Precisely, look past Home to the real stuff. Sure this is a disappointment, I was looking forward to Home, but I'll tell you what I was looking forward to even more, the games! That's where the real action is, and on that front Sony are not letting me down at all. The new support for rumble on so many games makes it all the better.
