Yakuza 3 coming to the PlayStation 3

PS3 News | An exclusive.
Sega has confirmed that Yakuza: Kenzan! (Yakuza 3) will be coming to the PlayStation 3 exclusively early next year in Japan according to Famitsu magazine.

The game will take place in 1605 Japan in a period known as the Edo period. Players will take control of Japan's most famous swordsman, Musashi Miyamoto. The game will include four fighting styles weaponless, one sword, two sword, and broadsword and a variety of special moves. The first Yakuza was released late last year and was an enjoyable game not without it's flaws, we're hoping that third time is a charm for Sega this time.

I'd **** LOVE to see Yakuza next gen. It really immerses you in the environment (a huge thing for me- in fact, it's why I like FFVIII more than VII), which can only be enhanced by the graphical capabilities of the PS3. Big one for me.
