Haze confirmed as PS3 exclusive

PS3 News | 360 and PC versions gunned down.
The past few months may have seen the PlayStation 3 hemorrhaging exclusive titles like they were going out of fashion, but sci-fi first-person shooter Haze will now only be appearing on Sony's platform.

Previously, the PC and Xbox 360 editions of the Free Radical-developed shooter were slated to appear one week after the PS3 version made its debut. Now however, publisher Ubisoft has confirmed to GameSpot that only the PlayStation 3 version is still in development. Free Radical's site states as much as well, confirming that Sony has hooked a pretty big fish for its line-up of Holiday 2007 exclusives.

Other PS3 exclusives set for release this year include Heavenly Sword, Lair, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and Warhawk.

Free Radical have quite a cult following for their shooters (which I never really understood personally) so this is quite significant. The game looks pretty generic imo so i'll hold off making any decisions untill some reviews are out. I do like the look of it but the setting looks kinda boring.

^They have this cult following because these guys worked with Rare and made Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.

yEa I know the games they've made (don't forget Timesplitters). I never thought they were that special....hence cult following....unlike Halo which had a more mainstream follwing.

I wish Free Radical would make Timesplitters 4 for current gen systems. That would rawk!
