Borderlands revealed

PS3 News | "Diablo meets Mad Max".
In the latest Game Informer, it's been revealed that Brother in Arms developer Gearbox Software is working on a new first-person shooter titled Borderlands.

The magazine describes Borderlands as a science fiction shooter with role playing elements, or - for those who want to compare it to a movie and a game - "Diablo meets Mad Max". The game will feature four player online co-operative play and is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

As soon as more information on Borderlands is revealed, we'll report back.

The 'Diablo meets Mad Max' tagline sounds like a geekgasm waiting to happen, but its pretty hard to get excited about the game when there's no solid info. The b*stards know how to get my interest though!

You better deliver something good, Gearbox! *shakes fist*
