PlayStation Store Updated

PS3 News | A worthy update.

Long after we'd gone home on Friday and you were either nestled in bed, out with mates or having a quiet night in, Sony updated the PlayStation Store with quite a bounty of content.

First up, Super Stardust HD is available on the Store for $13.45. Sony also released a new map pack for Resistance: Fall of Man which adds two new multiplayer maps for $7.45. Two Blu-Ray trailers have also been added to the store for Superman Returns and Full Metal Jacket. There are also two classic titles on the store Gauntlet II and Championship Sprint which are both $5.00 each.

Ah good, i might go check it out once i get home. I hope that they keep this constant rate with the same amount of updates. Now i'm starting to wonder if the ps3 will host its own version of E3 as MS has announced they will be doing on their live service.

Looks like I might have to download Gauntlet II, one of the arcade games I grew up playing. Interesting how XBLA got Gauntlet and PS3 gets Gauntlet II

Superstar dust is a cool game. And the superman returns trailer looks good. The normal DVD picture quality was crap (yes the movie was crap as well but im a big superman fan). But the small amount of footage i saw of the 1080p trailer looks pretty nice. will pick it up
