Just finished this on the 360 - brilliant game. Good to see that PS3 owners won't be missing out for too long.

In the K-mart catalogue it says that The Darkness will be released on July 5th, 2007 and on www.playstation.com.au it says July 29th, 2007. I really hope that K-mart will get it on the 5th, God knows that EB won't.

I pre orderd it a while ago so im looking forward to checking it out. The visuals looks sweet. But apparently it is pretty short.

There is actually quite a lot of content on the 360 version when it comes to videos playing on tvs, I heard the Ps3 version would have the full movie of Nosferatu along with lots of others but the 360 version has like a full episode of Flash Gordon, some cartoon called Gabby, some catchy "too roo too" song, another grungy/metal track and some other black and white tv show (which I fell asleep to and had this weird vivid dream....but we won't go there), so i'm looking foward to seeing how much stuff they've crammed onto that Blu-Ray disc.

^nod nod, i guess this can be a test to see how they are compared to the 360, since its not just a simple port from the launch?

When you sit down with Jenny for the first time, the TV runs the full version of "To Kill a Mockingbird". Pretty damn swish, I reckon.

The game is pretty short (beat it in 4-5 solid sittings, roughly 12 hours for the average joe), but there's a load of unlockable content, so I'll most likely go through it on hard for those and a few more achievements.

The online is buggy and EXTREMELY laggy if you can get a game going...Starbreeze are on holiday and say they will fix it after they come back.. who knows when that is.

This will most likely be the same for PS3... anyway this game is not about the multiplayer, its about the solid single player.

Theres a heap of stuff to do aside from the main story, to complete it 100% single player achievements will probably take 16-19 hours..
