Warhawk public beta commencing May 24th

PS3 News | Get ready to fly.

IGN has confirmed via Sony's Gamer's Day that the beta for Warhawk will be available on May 24th. The beta is open to the public, but it's unclear at the moment whether that will include PAL territories.

Warhawk is a downloadable game that's only playable online. In Warhawk you take to the skies and land, using the Sixaxis controller to defeat your enemies. Sony has also confirmed that it'll be distributing a Blu-ray disk of the game which will come with a Bluetooth headset.

I downloaded the video, I can't say I was impressed. But I still will give the game a go, if done right this could be a lot of fun.

This beta is pretty soon but I can't even remember what vehicles are playable. Did they scrap all on ground vehicles??

I hope there's a beta for PAL regions as I'm very interested in this game. Looks like mindless fun.

Ah man this would be so cool, but you just know it won't come out here.
Oh well, at least the Halo 3 beta will still be going then.
