Sony fans moan about Devil May Cry 4

PS3 News | So Capcom responds.
Never underestimate the power of the fanboy. After Capcom recently announced that Devil May Cry 4 would be appearing on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the Sony fanboys came out in force, even starting a petition to register their seething discontent.

9,000 signatures later, and Capcom switched to damage limitation mode, with Senior director of strategic planning and research Christian Svensson telling the Capcom forums, "We are certainly moved that people are so passionate about our products that they would go to such extremes.

"At the same time we feel that allowing more people access to our content pleases far more people than it displeases (after all, we're not denying DMC4 to anyone that was already going to get it). It really is the best decision for the company and for consumers."

Im sure that everyone could understand if one of their favourite exclusive games became non-exclusive and please refrain from the "but that wouldnt happen" excuse
Unless going 'non-exclusive' meant 'being released on a different platform only' then I couldn't care less. There is no legitimate reason for gamers to be upset - unless they're really concerned that people playing on a different piece of hardware than them might have fun too... in which case they can can to Hell icon_razz.gif

Exactly, the less exclusives we see for the PS3 and 360 its sort of like SNES/Mega Drive where most 3rd parties would develop their games for both systems. In case you weren't around then, SNES/Mega Drive were the real glory days of games.
