New Sega Rally shots

PS3 News | Five new mud-filled screens.
A selection of new shots for the forthcoming Sega Rally Revo was sent our way this morning. The latest entry in Sega's venerable off-road racing franchise is set to appear on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, and is pencilled in for a Q3, 2007 release.

Alongside the new screens, we also got a press release which told us virtually the same as the last one that was distributed, namely that the game will feature fully deformable environments and surfaces (à la MotorStorm), 4WD, 2WD and Classic vehicles, and a whacking great online mode. Which all sounds mighty promising - here's hoping this can live up to the magnificent arcade and Saturn versions from the mid-'90s. The Dreamcast incarnation we can probably forget.

those pictures really don't seem "Next-Gen" to me, especially compared to Forza 2 and GTHD.

perhaps it's just because they're static, and the terrain is much more interactive than other racing games, but the cars themselves don't look that much better than GT4.
