MGS4 still a PS3 exclusive

PS3 News | Quashing recent rumours.
Various message boards around the joint have been up in arms about someone mentioning something about Metal Gear Solid 4 definitely coming to the Xbox 360. T'would be nice for those who had only one reason to get a PS3. Yet it seems now that MGS4 is still a PS3 exclusive, or at least for a long period of time.

Revealing the news to CVG, a spokesperson said, "Konami has no plans to bring Metal Gear Solid 4 to the Xbox 360 at this time," and was quoted in saying that the game is still going to be "exclusive to PlayStation 3."

Well, it gives another reason for Sony and Microsoft fans to go to war about the prized series. As we all know, any "confirmed" facts about a game can be changed, so we expect to hear more news about MGS4's release details in 2007. For those still in the dark about the game, check out PALGN's first preview.

Only says "for now", Sony could have them paid not to say anything until after it's released first on the PS3.

Could be they're waiting for the install base Sony promised, if not they may go ahead with a port.
