Downloadable content confirmed for PS3 Killzone

PS3 News | Shooter to get extra chapters.
Remember Killzone? It's been a while since we heard much at all about the Guerilla-developed PS3 shooter - aside from the odd grandiose claim from Phil Harrison (actually, scratch that: grandiose claims from Phil Harrison aren't odd at all), virtually nothing has been released about the project since the infamous E3 2005 trailer.

Well, now that's changed, because an article in Dutch newspaper de Volksrant has revealed that Killzone on the PS3 will be following the example of all the cool kids and getting downloadable content. Said content will take the form of "chapters which will follow the game's release," though little more was actually revealed. We'd like to think that ten years down the line there'll be games which don't make you shell out extra cash just to get everything, but we're not holding our breath.
