Of course, Ninja Gaiden Black was itself a special edition of the first Ninja Gaiden game for the Xbox (from the long dormant series last seen on the Super Nintendo). But while they have been Microsoft stalwarts for a few years now, Team Ninja used to be known known for re-releasing the same game multiple times on multiple formats - over the years Tecmo released a staggering seven distinct versions of Dead or Alive 2, for example. Apparently Team Ninja are considering the project the 'complete' version of Ninja Gaiden, so after this they may actually move on and create a sequel. Between Dead or Alive Extreme sequels, of course.
No mention of a release date yet, but check the media panels for the first three screens.
