Sony's TGS game list revealed?

PS3 Rumour | More than just FMVs?
According to an article posted at News4Gamers recently, a Sony employee in Tokyo has gone and leaked a list of games that Sony would have on show at this year's Tokyo Game Show event. At this stage, said employee has asked to remain anonymous, due to the fear of losing his/her job for making such a statement. The supposed employee failed to mention if the list included playable demos, or if they were going to be FMVs showing off the graphical power of the console. Either way though, it's an impressive line up.

The games the employee listed are:
  • Devil May Cry 4
  • Resident Evil 5
  • Assassin's Creed
  • Siren 3
  • Killzone 3
  • Grand Theft Auto IV
  • Fatal Frame 4
  • Metal Gear Solid 4
  • Final Fantasy XIII
  • Tekken 6
  • Silent Hill 5
  • SpiderMan 3
  • Onimusha 5
  • Kingdom Hearts 3
  • Shadow of the Colossus sequel
  • God of War 3
  • Ninja Gaiden 2
  • Battlefield 3 (believed to be Battlefield 2142)
  • Zone of the Enders 3

Poor form at every title being a sequel or in a series bar Assassin's Creed.

A lot of just seems like fanboy wishes.

I seriously doubt Battlefield 2142 and GTA4 would be shown in Japan of all places, not to mention God of War 3 when no. 2 hasn't been finished yet.

My thoughts exactly, and others like Kingdom Hearts 3 (#2 yet to be released in Europe, and these games take ages to get Disney's approval), Shadow of the Colossus sequel (unlikely from that developer), Ninja Gaiden 2 (pure Speculation), Zone of the Enders 3 (wouldn't this be like the fith game Mr Kojima is currently working on) seem to be pure fantasy.

Also, all but 4 of those games are 3rd party. I doubt there are many Sony staff members who would even know what all those 3rd parties are doing. This is another article that assumes Sony know everything that will be on their console before the developers even know.

I knew that KH3 would be on PS3, I just knew it! (presuming that the game list is not completely made up). Can't wait to see what they have to show for that, and FFXIII.

Sunrider: FFXIII hasn't been relased in the US/Europe yet either, but they've been showing stuff for that, so it's possible for KH too. They had a bit of time to get started on it, in any case. It's been out in Japan and the US for ages. It's FFXII I'd be more worried about, but they've already been showing off XIII, so there you go. icon_biggrin.gif

I assume you mean XII ?

That line up sounds so utterly awesome that I am in no doubt that it is a huge, steaming pile of rubbish.

God of War 3? Shadow of the Colossus 2? Riiiiight. No doubt we will see these games in some form or another over the next few years, but at TGS? Don't think so.

It's possible though, because Sony NEED a big showing at TGS its the last big conference before the PS3 launches. icon_smile.gif

GTAIV i doubt though
Yea I doubt on the GTAIV too amongst most the others,
Sony have a rep for being more talk than walk so its more than likely its probably 75% B/S!!!

PS Where was Warhawk? And Id believe MS would get Ninja Gaiden 2 before PS3 ever does particularly because MS has a better relationship with Tecmo than Sony ever will, plus judging by last generation Tecmo maintained to bring most of their productions as xbox exclusives.
And why would they bring the sequel to ninja gaiden to a company that never even had the first one?

Friend of mine down the road is going to TGS. Damn him..>_<

well that's ridiculously ambitious. i still love the idea of Shadow of the Colossus 2, but somehow I highly doubt it will ever happen.

I did mean XII, sorry. Anyway, i think that most of those games except GTA, are possible to show. Don't put it past them, they DO need it! icon_smile.gif

I want to see Killzone. Ever since that 05 trailer I've been dying to see what it really looks like when they get it running in realtime. Plus, I am desperate for more combo goodness, and Devil May Cry 4 should deliver me that. In fact I recall the developer of DMC saying that the 4th will be playable at TGS this year. I can't remember for the life of me where I read it, but meh, I guess that game has a higher chance of making it to TGS.

Sounds like a good list...

Also sound like a fake list

Just have to wait for TGS and see
