Uchiyama stated that he wanted either the Tekken or Soul Calibur teams to work on a DBZ fighter - but before the merger was complete, the teams were already working on new Tekken and Soul Calibur games.
We've known for a while that Tekken 6 was in the works but this is the first time that we've been enlightened to the status of the next Soul Calibur. It seems that both titles will be skipping the arcades, in favour of a home console debut. Itis not known what console Soul Calibur IV will be appearing on, but there have been rumours suggesting a possible Xbox 360 release.
The rest of the interview is dedicated to Dragon Ball Z, though Uchiyama was coy when it came to the question regarding how Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Budokai 2 will be adapted for the Wii. We'll have more information on these games, as it becomes available to us.
