E3 2006: Capcom lets loose Monster Hunter on PS3

PS3 News | Third Monster Hunter title to conveniently hit Sony’s third console.
Capcom has today announced the development of the third title in the Monster Hunter franchise is headed to Sony’s PlayStation 3.

Tsuyoshi Tanaka, the producer behind such titles as Devil May Cry 2 & 3 and Biohazard Outbreak, was the barer of the good news. The game will feature “graphics that show off the beauty inherent in nature and expressive characters that explore the lush world”, as well as boasting new online features.

Capcom will be showing off a number of their key titles for the upcoming months in playable form, which include the likes of the recently announced God Hand, and some particular favourites such as Okami, Dead Rising, Ultimate Ghosts ‘N Goblins and Monster Hunter Freedom to name a few.

Capcom are expected to unveil a number of secret titles unknown to the gaming public at their E3 booth later this week, and Monster Hunter 3 is likely to be one of those titles.

monster hunter 3 huh, thats all well and good but what about monster hunter 2?
