Set in the year 1191, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart, Assassin’s Creed will follow the story of a cunning assassin named Altair who’s intentions are to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the Holy War.
After the company’s success with the Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell franchisers, Ubisoft Montreal are hoping to transform Assassin’s Creed into a franchise that’ll establish itself as one of the ‘must-have’ next-generation games for the new era, which you can judge for yourself by checking out the trailer below.
