Four characters revealed for Soul Calibur V

PS3 Media | Kilik 2.0.
Namco Bandai has announced four more characters for their upcoming release, Soul Calibur V.

In addition to Yoshimitsu, one of the core figures of Namco Bandai's fighting games, there are two other returning characters. One is Cervantes, the not-so-undead dual-wielding pirate and the other, Aeon, the lizardman. The fourth character is Xiba, a newcomer who wields a staff. Kilik 2.0, anyone?

Soul Calibur V is scheduled for an early 2012 release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. While you play the waiting game though, have a gander at the screenshots of the four characters below.

Hrmmm, not exactly new are they. New name perhaps. Namco fail.

So they've finally given Lizardman a name. I still think he should have a different weapon than a sword and shield. How the heck does it wield that shit?

Apparently he stole someone's body (somebody that apparently looks exactly like he did) or something like that.

I'm thinking that Soul Cal 5 will not be the reboot we were hoping for.

That's.... lame.

Yeah I'm with leon on this one, the time skip was the perfect opportunity to give us a whole batch of new original characters, and so far we've gotten new characters who fight like old characters, old characters who didn't age and like 2 new people?

This does nothing for me.

I'm with Leon too. I really dont like any of the "new" characters they just seem to be younger crappier looking versions of the old characters with big hair and none of the personality.
