Honestly, it looks okay, but it doesn't look like a Max Payne game.

The style of it just doesn't look and feel right to me.

I'm glad they kept the music, but yeah, sunny doesn't strike me as Max Payne-ish. Still, so long as it's more of the same I'll be partaking. I loved Max Payne 2.

I dig it.
I like the old fat balled version of max and I think setting it in Brazil is an awesome idea.

Sao Paulo certainly has the right setting as far as unrestrained violence goes, that's for sure. And a bald, fat, older Max does move the series along, stopping it getting stuck in the mud of others.

But all I care about is having more bullet time.

I think they missed an opportunity here to create a new IP, this could easily be called something else other than Max Payne with a few minor tweaks to the storyline.

You wouldn't pick it for a Max Payne game unless they spelled it out. Meh.

I'm sure Rockstar will recieve the usual 10/10 circle jerk for their OSCAR WORTHY CINEMATIC STORY.

Looks good for a Rockstar game but as a Max Payne game, it's a pretty out of place direction that they're taking it.

Not really, not like this.

Max Payne 3 is drastically different from it's predecessors, also it looks like there is little in the way of backstory.

By looking at the trailer and other information about the game, 'Max Payne was haunted by demons, but now he's in Brazil. He's getting wasted,shaving his hair and working as a private security.'

Basically my point is that there is barely anything that makes it a Max Payne title, apart from Payne himself.

Yeah, so I'm actually going to wait until I've got more info on it than the tiny drip-feed of teaser reel that R* tend to let through. How much about it do we actually know outside of what he now looks like, location, and the vague plot hints let out in that trailer?
