Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD to support 4 player co-op

PS3 News | There's room for only one Snake, and... a few other characters.
The upcoming Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is a pretty awesome collection for old fans and new players alike, but the recent news that Peace Walker will be featuring online 4 player co-op is likely to push the game up multiplayer gamers' purchase list.

As reported by Xbox 360 Achievements, the announcement comes straight from the fingers of Hideo Kojima himself. "4 people can co-op and it is 60 frames. During loading, characters’ dialogues pop up at random", Kojima tweeted. This was accompanied by a picture of four monitors hooked together with loading screens from the new mode, as we have attached in the media panel below.

So far we've only heard word of this feature going ahead on the Xbox 360 platform, but fingers crossed PlayStation 3 gamers will get the same experience.

The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is slated for release in November this year.
