BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend officially announced for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

PS3 News | To be released as a standalone disc.
Initially announced for the PlayStation Vita, Arc System Works has officially announced BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game will be released via standalone retail release, in disc form, and not as downloadable content.

Extend will feature a new character called Relius Clover as a playable fighter. It will also feature an updated online mode, allowing 2 on 2, 3 on 3 and 2 on 4 team battles. The story mode will see four new scenarios as well as a refined version of the story mode that was in BlazBlue Calamity Trigger and will include all the paid Continuum Shift downloadble content.

BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend will arrive in Japan in 2011, with no plans of a PAL release at this stage.

I still feel kind of shitty that this is being a disc release. Though the new story mode sounds cool.

I would rather Relius as DLC.

You haven't played the Persona games?! Wait for Persona 4 on the Vita if anything. You can thank me later. icon_razz.gif

I kind of burnt out on JRPG's around the same time I did on anime, the only ones I play anymore are the Tales games.

Benza, all im gonna say is this.

Persona (and Strange Journey on DS) is the ideal RPG for gamers who grew tired of JRPGs.

Purely stand alone. They have little hints here and there to show some kind of connection, but it's not even needed.
