Red Dead Redemption 'Myths and Mavericks' Free DLC coming next month

PS3 News | There's more life left in this cowboy.
Rockstar Games has revealed that the previous announced 'Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack' for Red Dead Redemption will be hitting the streets shortly.

This free DLC is "coming as a show of appreciation for the awesome long-term support for the game's multiplayer modes since its release in 2010" and will feature new fan-favorite multiplayer characters by popular demand (including everone's favourite ol' gunslinger Landon Ricketts) as well as new multiplayer locations for a number of popular online modes including: Deathmatch, Grab the Bag and Gang matches.

Red Dead Redemption's Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack will be available for download on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network in September.

Damn, was really hoping it'd be more single-player content when R* first announced there was more DLC coming. But hey, it's free, and the game is over 14 months old now (I don't think any kind of downloadable expansion would sell all that well after this much time)

Hmm, wouldn't mind replaying it actually.
