For the sake of remaining optimistic, let us assume that 2K Games will be using the remainder of this year to fix any mistakes, remove any bugs, and put the finishing touches on a very promising title. A reason wasn't given to explain the four month delay (The Darkness II was previously scheduled for October), so the elongated waiting time is more than a little disappointing.
The Darkness II is being developed for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. A new release date has been confirmed; 7 February 2012 for North America, with 10 February 2012 for Europe. What about us? Bang in the middle, probably. In the meantime, you can read our preview from E3.
