House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut announced

PS3 News | Even more bang for your buck.
One of the Wii's most enjoyable games, the well received rail shooter House of the Dead: Overkill, is spreading it's rotten, smelly arms wide to welcome a new audience to the carnage. Today, SEGA announce House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut for the PlayStation 3.

The same great game remastered and reworked for the PlayStation 3, Overkill Extended Cut features new and improved graphics, 3D support, and support for the PlayStation Move peripheral so you can emulate the true light-gun experience. On top of that two new scenarios and new game modes have been added to the mix, extending the blood soaked ride even further.

House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut is slated for a release in October for PlayStation 3. You can check out the first media below.

wii version was probably the only wii game I truly enjoyed.

I'll get this when it goes cheap. If you haven't played it already... highly recommended.

I hope they work on those black levels (screenshots) before it's released!

It's too short to get a remake? I loved this game as well but still. It'd only last the average person 2 hours worth and then you're done.

Its fun though. I'd rather 2 hours of fun then x hours of [insert game I don't like here].

I wonder if 'Extended Cut' means more levels or added non storyline levels..

I loved the first and it definitely took me a lot longer than 2 hours to finish it as I enjoyed buying new guns and trying them out on finished levels..
