Hrmmm.. guess I'll need to pick up a copy of Infamous1 and see if I like the gameplay.. the visuals look really nice but as we all know.. visuals aren't everything.
One thing that irritated me about the first Infamous is it looked like absolute arse in SD. I had a PS3 hooked up at work for a customer for testing, and they put it in and there was so much detail in the environment that the lower resolution really killed it.
I don't really know if that's a positive or a negative, but it was something I noticed.
The one that was obviously rendered using high-res game assets to look like gameplay, like the original Bioshock 'gameplay' style trailer (or the one of Infinite)? Yeah, I doubt it.
And I reckon the graphics are as good in gameplay as those pics, you only have to look at the helicopter chase video to see that.
The assets are all from the game but the screens are too sharp to be real. There's no way the game is going to have AA and AF that makes it look that clean.
