Mass Effect 2 to hit PlayStation Network, plus new trailer

The PlayStation 3 build of Mass Effect 2 is not too far away now, and today Sony has revealed that the game will be launching in two forms.

Firstly, and as everybody already knows and expects, Mass Effect 2 and all its extra goodies will be available on BluRay disk at retail. Secondly, EA will be offering purchase and download of the Mass Effect 2 PlayStation 3 release on PlayStation Network.

This digital release of Mass Effect 2 will be available in the United States on the same day as the retail release. We'll have word of a European/Australian digital release as soon as possible. In the meantime, check out the latest PlayStation 3 specific Mass Effect 2 trailer.

What's the bet it is either not released on AU PSN or that it costs $110?

Pretty sure it will be, saw promo for it on the store. No doubt it'll be some ridiculous price that they expect people to pay. How can they expect us to embrace digital downloads if they charge so much?
