Too much AA to be real, but either way, still can't get used to the new Cole.

New Cole is just too weird for me, not really a smart move to change character design in a direct sequel. I still managed to "feel" emotion for the original design....

If Sucker Punch can explain it in the story I'm sure I'll probably come to accept New Cole. Say, if Cole looks at the revelations of the first game's ending and realises he's on the wrong path in his life and makes a change, I'm fine with that. But if it's just, y'know, "BAM, here's some new guy, try and tell the diddly-ifference", that'll be too much.

I'd definitely like them to change New Cole's face to more closely resemble Cole's, though. I know the voice actor isn't going to change at this point, but there's no reason Cole can't have his old face. Other than that it's just a change of clothes and longer hair.

New Cole is yuck. Everywhere on the internet, the reaction has been mostly been "ewwww" (see gametrailers/youtube comments). I think SP will pull the design back in line with Infamous 1 + lose those nasty as s tatts.

I say good on them. They wanted to steer away from the current trend of having a macho, shaved-head, I'll-kill-you-in-your-sleep-so-I-can-get-myself-some-fresh-meat-in-jail style of generic game protagonist to simply having a generic game protagonist.

KUDOS!
