Looks cool...but anybody who has played the first game...how the hell is the story going to keep going?

But anyway, I'm expecting big things from this game. They got the engine but all the first game lacked was a bit of polish. So hopefully it will be just awesome.

^According to LucasArts, it's going by the canon rather than the two endings of the first, hence why the Apprentice is alive.

I'm certainly looking forward to it as the first was just proper bad-ass gaming fun. More polish only means more good.

Awesome trailer! The game was fun but I never bought it in the end, if I can find it cheap enough I probably will though.

I love it when they do Star Wars games right, this looks like a lot of fun.

I only have the Force Unleashed on the Wii, is it worth picking up the PS3 (or even the PC version)? I understand that they are quite different in terms of progression and level design, and the upgrade system is more deep than the Wii version.

Wait I'm completely confused. I thought George approved the story for Unleashed as canon? I thought it was consider 'what happened'...

Is the story for the sequel even going to consider what happened in the first?

apparently you play as a clone. kind of a weak continuation, think they would've been better off just using a new character.

it pretty much fits in the expanded universe as the story fills in the holes to the films but also wraps in other things that ownly happen if this / that didnt happen in the film but the story whole itself is based on an alt story of a what happened if this didn't happen in the film ....

Man, you can use clones as a loop hole for EVERYTHING.

SPOILER ALERT (for those who don't want to know)

Quote
From what I've read, the story continues on from the 'first' ending in TFU, where Starkiller sacrifices himself. Vader had a clone made on Kamino, in case his little experiment went awry (which of course, it did). He retrains Starkiller and convinces him that the allies his original version made are actually enemies of the Empire, but since this is a clone, Starkiller follows his former self and turns on his master, destroying the Kamino clone chambers in the process (in the video, that's the opening level of the game as you fight your way out.)

Not much is known from that point on, but it seems as though Starkiller will eventually battle Vader again and maybe hook up with the Rebels. In terms of cannon, I'm guessing it'll link up to how Leia becomes a prime figure in the rebel alliance, but I'm also hoping for a cameo from a few other well known characters, a certain bounty hunter perhaps.

Why do all the stormtroopers run into close range at him? What do they teach these guys in stormtrooper academy?
