PlayStation Store Update - 19/03/10

PS3 News | Awakening to a brand new update.

Fans of Dragon Age: Origins have something special to look forward to today, with the release of the sizeable, perhaps even hefty, expansion pack Awakening, that includes a new campaign and several new characters. For PSP owners, a number of new games have hit the store, including the previously-unreleased awesome RPG Half Minute Hero, which is reportedly named after my reputation with the ladies. A whole lot of Lady Gaga has been released for Rock Band too, so comprehensive that it even includes Eric Cartman's version of 'Poker Face' from South Park.

What's wrong is the price of the DLC only Dragon Age: Awakenings expansion pack...$60!! Given we're not getting a disc release either...

Anyone know if you bought the US version of Awakenings on disc that would work kind of standalone or with the EU/AUS version of Origins?

Normally of course with DLC we'd be stuffed trying to use the US version, but since it comes on a disc over there I'm wondering if it would work for us..

I was thinking the same thing re Lady Gaga rankodour. I'm not a big fan but those songs plus alcohol and mates, could be a lot of fun to play.

Ouch! I knew Dragon Age Origins: Awakening was going to cost a bit more then the previous DAO downloadable content, but I wasn't expecting $60.

Looks like I'll have to put it on hold for a week or two

$60 for DA: Awakening? Dragon age owners are getting screwed badly there. It had better be a real lengthy campaign.

Also, seeing Flogging Molly on the Guitar Hero store makes me smile. If I had the PS3 version of GH5, I'd be in. I'll have to check out if it's on the Wii version as well.

Wakeboarding is not bad. Played for a little bit this morning before work.

Some dodgy collision detection and skipping animation over the ( fake and pre-determined) waves, but it's alright.

i love lady gaga but I can think of many more songs they could have done...

always wanted to see eskimo joe on rock band...probably will never happen.
