PS3 News | Only a couple of weeks to go.
Sony has today confirmed that the demo for the intriguing action adventure title Heavy Rain will be available for download from the PlayStation Store in the coming weeks.

Quantic Dreams' latest title will have players piecing together the clues to track down the murderous psychopath known as the Origami Killer. The developer has also confirmed that one of the Heavy Rain Chronicles will focus on the killer, unlocking the reasoning behind his murderous rage.

I'm glad a demo will be available. I mean, I can see myself really enjoying Heavy Rain, but a taste before the full game purchase is what I really need.

Watching the trailers have only kept my thirst for this game in check, but only barely. I can't believe that the demo, and the game are so close to being released. What has it been, 2-3 years now?

Demos just RUIN games for me, i remember getting the RE5 demo, hating it, not even remotely psyched about the game, then playing the game and it being one of the best gaming experiences i have ever had. I refuse to get demos to any games i am even remotely excited about. I need to be engaged from the start to even get into the story, chucking me in at a scene just holds no value to me whatsoever.

To me, demos are just to test out the gameplay of the game. I often skip cinematics etc in demos, whereas in the full game I watch/read everything.

I am much more inclined to just watch gameplay movies or something, just staying well away from Demos.
