Heavy Rain: Chronicle One - The Taxidermist will be an update to the "Taxidermist" demo made available to players and it will feature Madison Paige, an investigative journalist on the hunt for a serial killer.
Other characters from the Heavy Rain universe will be featured in later episodes, with each one to be priced at USD $4.99.
At the moment, Sony has confirmed that the first episode will be available for free upon the game's release for anyone who puts in a preorder of the title. Though at this time, the Heavy Rain preorder program has only been confirmed for United States and Canadian residents.
For those who opt not to preorder the game, Sony will be making the first two episodes available through the PlayStation Store at an undisclosed later date.
Heavy Rain is scheduled to be released in Q1 of 2010.
