Additional Borderlands DLC confirmed

PS3 News | It's gonna be a riot.
With speculation mounting over the discovery of additionalTrophies for Borderlands, Gearbox has confirmed that a second installment of downloadable content is on the way for the shooter-RPG title.

Dubbed Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, the follow-up to The Zombie Island of Dr Ned will bring three new "Riot Mode" areas to the game. Gearbox has confirmed that these areas will play out similarly to Gears of War 2's Horde mode in which players will face off against wave after wave of enemies.

This DLC add-on will also feature additional storage capacity via a new "bank feature" and the ability for players to earn two more skill points through quest rewards.

The DLC has been confirmed for all three versions of the title with a price point of 800 Microsoft Points / approximately AUD $14 when it is availabel for download.

Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riotis set to hit Xbox 360 on 29 December 2009, PlayStation 3 on 7 January 2010, followed by a release on the PC which is currently undated.

That is quite possibly the most epic title ever. Can't wait til it comes out, as I absolutely loved Zombie Island.
