Foo Fighters launch another dose of Rock Band DLC

The next installment of Rock Band DLC will see the Foo Fighters headlining a second track pack for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with artists such as Blind Melon, Blur, Eve 6, Kaiser Chiefs and Dropkick Murphys also contributing a track each

Each track is an original master recording priced at 160 Microsoft Points (which equates to approximately AUD $2.37 per track) or 440 Microsoft Points (AUD $6.51) for the three-song Foo Fighters track pack. The PlayStation 3 price is likely to be AUD $2.45 per track and AUD $6.45 for the Fooeys pack.

These tracks will be available for download from 18 August on Xbox 360, followed by a PlayStation 3 release on 20 August.

Ooh, i predict a riot. Rock band DLC is so much better than Guitar Hero. It's just a shame Harmonix are so terribly behind in releasing RB2.

Just get the PAL version from some online based store. I got mine way back from cd-wow.com.au but I'm not so sure they've got anymore PAL copies in stock at the moment.

I get the feeling that Australia is never going to get a locally distributed release of Rock Band 2 (but if it ever does it'll probably just turn up as a lucky bonus alongside an eventual release of Rock Band 3). Still I think that there had been an intention to release it locally at some point as the 360 disc has a yellow PG oflc rating on it.
