PlayStation Store Update - 10/07/09

PS3 News | What is it with games and wars?
This week, PlayStation 3 gamers are treated to the latest instalment in the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 1943, while PSP owners have a trio of downloadable games to choose from. There seems to be a trend towards more older games being uploaded to the PlayStation Store at reduced prices. Possible preparation for the PSP Go? We wouldn't be surprised. There's also a Ghostbusters demo and a couple of songs for Rock Band Unplugged, a game which has still yet to be released in Australia. Here is the full list.

In the follow up to the classic Battlefield 1942, experience infantry combat, with land, sea and air vehicles in a stand-alone multiplayer experience over the Pacific Islands.
  • Red Baron Arcade - AUD $12.95
Fight through World War I with twenty historic planes in thirty-six levels.

Actually, it's $14.99 on the US store. But EA are still money grabbers. icon_wink.gif

What happened to Trine though? I was really looking forward to it, it was supposed to be released on the 9th. Not even the US store has it. Hopefully next week...

There will eventually be 4. And the maps are huge, I wouldn't expect more for a PSN game.

How dare they not realise that its going to be so popular. Why didn't they employ 80,000 beta testers to make sure it works! EA ARE EVIL!
